We won!

189 startups applied to the IT Arena Startup Competition this year. 40 were selected for the semifinals.

Sirocco took 1st place and received a $30,000 grant from the Ukrainian Startup Fund. Our CGO Nazariy Mirchuk got on stage and pitched Sirocco: wind turbines built for the suburban market where hardly anyone is using wind yet.

The best part came after! We answered a lot of questions, mostly about the economics of distributed wind, why our turbine looks so different and which markets we're going after first.

Winning IT Arena matters a lot to Sirocco because it helps us push our 30 kW turbine past the pilot stage and onto customer sites.
