The first industrial pilot will be installed in 73 days

We're building and installing our 30 kW wind turbine step by step. Join us for the official opening of our first industrial pilot.

Register

This pilot launch marks the first large-scale deployment of our technology in a real industrial environment and represents a critical milestone for Sirocco Energy's R&D program.

Together with Kormotech, a company committed to investing in renewable energy to strengthen the stability and energy independence of its operations, we're testing our innovative 30 kW wind turbine in a real industrial environment.

For Sirocco, this pilot is a unique opportunity to validate the technology under real-world conditions and collect invaluable data to further improve the product.

About Sirocco

For Kormotech, it represents an important step in exploring additional decentralized renewable energy solutions that can enhance business resilience and long-term sustainability.

About Kormotech

Why Sirocco Energy?

Sirocco 30 kW is the company's first wind turbine designed to generate clean electricity directly at industrial facilities.

Up to 7X lower energy costs

The cost of electricity generated is significantly lower than standard grid tariffs, with a Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) of just $0.03–$0.08 per kWh.

Optimized for suburban wind conditions

Designed to perform efficiently in lower and more variable wind conditions typically found near industrial sites .Payback period: 2–7 years, depending on local wind conditions.

10X less space required

Its compact, highly optimized design requires minimal space, making installation possible even where space is limited.

Low-noise design

The turbine produces no significant aerodynamic noise, allowing it to be installed directly adjacent to production facilities.

99% recyclable

Nearly all components can be recycled at the end of their lifecycle, supporting the highest standards of environmental sustainability.

Final manufacturing and subsystem testing

The tower and yaw system are in final stage, with painting next. Control electronics is assembled and under testing; integrated tower-and-yaw testing follows. Blades, track, and carriages remain in production. Sirocco became a resident of Formation Industrial Park for turbine assembly and testing.

June 2026

Two regulatory hurdles cleared

The critical airport authority approval was obtained. The Ministry of Health officially confirmed that the standard 400-meter residential setback does not apply to our turbines — installation is possible at any distance within noise limits. This significantly expands the number of viable sites.

June 2026

Breakthrough in blade production costs

Blade manufacturing costs were reduced far ahead of expectations — reaching an efficiency level originally expected only after scaling. The aluminum blades are fully recyclable at end of life.

June 2026

Core components finished & foundation test completed

Manufacturing of the generator and rollers was completed, all control electronics and the yaw bearing received, and assembly and system integration began. Full-scale physical testing of the ground-screw foundation was conducted at the customer's site — confirming all structural safety margins.

May 2026

Engineering calculations updated

Scientists from leading aviation universities delivered additional structural strength and friction-loss calculations. Updated designs went into production — higher stability, lower energy losses.

May 2026

Start of manufacturing and procurement

Key processes launched in parallel: blades, generator and power electronics in production; control electronics (Siemens) ordered; steel tower pipes selected and ordered; yaw bearing purchased; custom mechanical components (rollers and others) entered production. An installation contractor with high-altitude equipment was selected.

April 2026

Site survey

Geological and geodetic surveys were completed at the Kormotech site, preparing for foundation testing

April 2026

Pilot funding unlocked

An additional $120,000 was secured, unlocking all production processes without waiting for grant disbursements. All contracts with suppliers and component manufacturers were signed.

April 2026

Kormotech contract signed

After 6+ months of negotiations, Sirocco signed its first pilot with Kormotech — a top-50 global pet food manufacturer with facilities in Ukraine and Lithuania. This launches the Energy-as-a-Service model, with the turbine staying on Sirocco's balance sheet under a long-term electricity supply contract.

March 2026

Decision to focus on a single pilot

After strategic sessions with the Advisory Board, the year was split into two phases. Phase 1 concentrates all resources on a single 30 kW pilot — unlocking validated operating data, commercial sales, and certification.
